What is at the heart of abortion? The answer may surprise you–in fact, it may be something you’ve never even heard of. You may have heard of eugenics, but there is another philosophy that underlies the process to widespread acceptance of abortion–Malthusianism.
Don’t let the names scare you–they are actually simple concepts to understand. If we can grasp them, we can understand the birth control movement of the early 1900s, which ultimately led to abortion being accepted and celebrated in American society.
